Wiring sorted, but now it runs for a sec then dies :(

So...
I removed the V5 from my AW11 to replace it with the Lem G3.
I carefully cut all the loom apart and removed anything not being used.

Was pretty confident and things were going well until I tried getting 12v to the ecu, ign and inj.

I've checked it out and I pretty much have lost all my relays from switching on.
The dash lights don't come up any more either, like when you turn the key with the alarm armed.

Anyway question is what would stop all the relays from not working??
I didn't think I cut anything important but this is saying other wise.

Did you knock anything on the 12v circuit loose by chance?

You cut wires individually and/or had the battery disconnected?

I checked the first side of the relays and it has power always and earth circuit is complete?? but relays don't click like nothing comes up.

I had the battery off yes, figured that was a good idea.
I feel I've chopped something rather than a fuse being blown.

is there something that switches all the relays, I'm alright with wiring and diagrams but this has me stumped and I only have tomorrow left to fix it

I dnt understand how fiddling with the ecu plugs/wires affected dash lights. i had 3 plugs going to the ecu and three other plugs plugging in behind the center console that controlled the dash lights and what not. even with the ecu plugs cut all the dash lights would still light up when those other plugs are plugged in. Are your plugs plugged in? I know i had to unplug mine a few times to get the loom out.

In the boot of the AW11 is the starting circuit relay (I think thats what its called, its a sizeable black one with a yellow connector and a chunky yellow plug with 5 pins) which afaik provides 12v to the ecu, relays etc when you turn the key. One of the wires going to it is a deece gauge black one with a white stripe

Could be worth checking that relay is clicking.

I have checked that one, it's definatly not clicking.
So that one activates everything else?

Mean, will try hooking 12v to that then :D

No decent gauge black one with white stripe.
There's black with red dots along it x2 which is my b+

One of these wires is an earth though, thats not right huh

Cogent your wiring is essentially the same but I have grey plugs instead of the 80's yellow ones

$&#$% I really hope not after spending three days on nutting this out!
Just checking it's ok to use the same 12v+ on the coil and the injectors.

Also the injectors are high impedance, but for some reason they were wired into the v5 with a ballast resistor pack??

Says you don't need to use one if they are high impedance??

Obviously I will add that to the unused pile (it's quite the pile now)

Everythings all wired up, Starts up with a bit of a pop (not sure of lead order)
Runs with multiple configurations of order.

After about 5-10 seconds it just dies.

Any ideas??

Will start but turns off after a few seconds.
Ran better with heaps of vacuum leaks
