Shaved boots? Love them or hate them?

Postby Tha_INS » Sat Feb 06, 2010 7:38 pm

I personally think the idea is stupid really I mean shaving of some locks does'nt affect the look of the car too much but shaving the whole number plate area from a car just makes it look odd in my opinion...

Thoughts?

Depends I guess, shaving the lock off will make it look cleaner.

But shaving the plate out, then bolting it back on at an angle is gay so I voted gay

They NEVER look normal. They NEVER follow the natural lines of the car/ute/wagon/whatever it's done on.

They seem to always make the back of the car look rounded - and not in a nice way....

But shaved boots look fully sick boe.. especially when the number plate is then "frenched" in the rear bumper so that its at a funny angle... At least the owners are being considerate of all those people with one leg longer than the other

While I don't like that evo posted above, and would rather spend $$$ on go fast parts any day, I think on some cars it doesn't look to bad >>

Well it's one sure-fire way to ruin the resale value of your car. I think it looks tacky, I guess it's cool if you wear your hat at a silly angle and live in Linwood…

That starlet doesn't look 100% horrible (though standard still looks better), I think because it follows the 'natural' line of the car, it's just taken off the garnish.

Then there are those kromez....
