93 FXGT 4AGZE conversion

Postby boonie » Sun Feb 07, 2010 10:25 pm

G'day, I currently drive a 93 fxgt running a blacktop 4AGE and am hoiping to install a 4AGZE (with the supercharger swapped for a turbo) in the near future. If anyone here has done this conversion, or similar, any info would be greatly appreciated. Also looking at doing a drivetrain conversion to RWD sometime in the next year or so.

Haha, I was wondering the same thing.

Simple answer is don't bother. Buy a RWD car, easy.

As for the motor, don't buy a 4AGZE.
Just buy some new factory 4AGZE pistons (they are cheap and strong) and some Silvertop rods. Slap them in your Blacktop and turbo that, with a link or similar running the show.

Or, just sell your car and buy one that's already turbo.

There is no way you can build the same thing for that money.
