thanks for that bzbling.

Once I have the new shocks in and see how they go I will consider putting in springs as well

New struts are in!

The car is sitting a wee bit higher, and it handles bumps and corners better than before, so the upgrade has made a difference, possibly 20% better than before but hard to quantify

I am taking it through to Queenstown this weekend so with luggage in the back it will highlight if it has really helped the problem of sagging when any sort of load is carried.

I do recommend doing the struts, although i could have upgraded the springs at the same time....

im my ae100 / 101/ 111 series wagons i run dobi lowered springs as they seem to be the best. Kings are hard, jamex are too soft, sabres were average so i stuck with dobis.

Have had a few wagons over the years and just replace the rear shocks when you feel they are getting buggered and it makes a world of difference ;)

For those that are interested i bought those springs off trademe,

and had them fitted to our BZT a few weeks back.

Measured ride heights before and after,

it dropped the front about 15mm,
and raised the rear about 15mm,

and that is compared to the standard factory springs that had sagged.

car now sits level and rides a lot better too.
