mark would be a good person to speak to about this (ae25)

But yeah from what ive heard, alteeza lsd units work with the f series housings.

I myself will be running a true trac lsd unit in my f series housing in my MA61. Plenty proven.

Unless you are running stupid amounts of power, or drive like a knob, you wont break them in a hurry.

Josh young one of the drift guys from Aussie had one in his ae86 behind a w55 and 1uz, I believe it held up quite well. They are a really popular conversion in Aus, commonly called a "tarago diff" the tarago being the aussie delivered estima...
When in doubt, down and out.

oh ok, so what are they out of? I was goin to shorten a borg warner down, but that will probly be overkill and extra weight. The only good thing with the borgy was its already lsd and gear sets are easy and cheap to buy. I'm wanting a 3.7 maybe 3.9 ratio, where could i find and head with that ratio for a f code

That diff in that auction is from an estima which would be the best place to look.

You can get an altezza torsen LSD for about $350

The 3.9s come in the gx61 but the more common 1s would eb the 4.1 out of the gx71 grande
