turbo 4agze in dx not boosting?

idles and revs at idle fine but when you try drive it, when its under load or sees boost it cuts out and has a meer of a time (~3,000rpm) , running 4agze loom, map sensor and ecu.

Im thinking faulty map sensor or fuel pump/ pressure issues.

Just wondering if this might be a common fault?

Checked fault codes?
There a re few faults that throw a code and deny boosting

Nope, how do i check fault codes when its a engine conversion and no engine check light

Maybe by finding the CEL wires and hooking them up to a bulb.
If your loom allows it....
