Help with choosing a new clutch

I have a car. It has a clutch. But now it needs a new clutch.

I want to use it for weekend driving and drag racing.

In the next couple of months I am going to have some extensive modifications resulting in approx 560rwkw.

Can anyone give me any ideas or point me in the right direction to find a clutch to handle the new power and the stress of drag racing but also allow me to drive it nicely on the streets. I am only little and don't want a mega hard out clutch

Could go with an Exedy twin plate clutch. Haven't found these to be hard om the left leg

You dont really have much option I'm afraid, you'll have to go multi plate clutch to be able to contain the power and handle the abuse.
That said, a good twin plate clutch is not actually that bad to drive, but they are noisy. Probably a softer pedal than a single plate clutch with a massive pressure plate!

You don't have a choice, with that much torque you need a heavy clutch.

with 560rwkw you might even need to go one step higher.

I'm thinking ORC carbon clutches.

Multi plate clutches rattle when disengaged. Very embarassing when you pull up at a set of lights and people tell you there's something wrong with your car (as if you can't hear it)

Like iOnic said, the plates rattle. Sounds like a really rooted release bearing
The Fidanza clutches look to be quite good value too, could proably get a price on a twin/triple plate.

The teeth design twin plates like mine rattle.
The V design ones you can barely hear.

If you get the correct size release bearing to suit the presure plate exactly then usually it would be a nice soft pedal, or go with a hydraulic releas bearing.

Nitro and V8 Killer dont run twin plates, they are still on single plate clutches and daily drive them. Might be worth approaching them at the next night speed drags..

Ring Autoclutch and tell them what you have, want you want to do etc etc etc and they'll recomend what they believe to be the best set up for the job.

That would be the same idea that they have in the Turbo Falcons,
that required all the cars to be recalled and held for a few months while they designed a new clutch for them.
