Brakes For TA 63 1983 Celica 4 to 5 stud.

Postby Skydognz » Sun Mar 07, 2010 11:17 pm

Hi Any one looked at or has carried out a brake conversion or a conversion to change the stud pattern from 4 to 5 stud. This is a rear wheel drive Celica.
Thanks

We're doing this on an RA/TA40 series Celica at the moment.

However we're running HiAce diff with RX7 brakes so we've already got the 5 x 114 sorted for the rear.

For the front I was looking around for a 5 stud hub that has the same bearing size as the old Celica and that could just be bolted on, however I really need a strut body thats about 8 to 10mm longer so will probably opt for early Supra or Cressida variant. Once again we'll run Series 6 brakes.

Probably not the answers you're looking for.
