I run a gen III Pump and sump etc to eliminate the inherent gen I/II Problems and it also has a higher flow. Do need to change to a gen III Cam belt as well though and work out which solutions you want for the two oil filter locations

Always fit new pumps to new/rebuilt motors.......... Not so expensive when this happens, have seen it so many times

Random question...kinda on topic.

Im fitting a new TGP pump and housing to my gen 3. I see there is a gasket that goes around it. Should i replace it with a TGP gasket (is there even an option?) or should i just crack out the silicone gasket goo?

Cheers
