Come on Guys, don't question Magnit he knows more than all of us
you dont need an aftermarket ecu on most nissans,for example, with the right software and a tuning cable you can tune them just like you would a link ecu.
the local tuner has a R32 GTR running over 1100hp on a factory RB26 ecu

on the other hand a toyota ecu can be reflashed, but not tuned on the fly making it pretty much useless
