Are you assuming its running lean or have you tested it?

Have you checked the condition of the fuel injectors?

Have read that some one fixed it by checking and replacing a few caps in the ecu? Mine bogs a little, but no spluttering.

common problem on silvertops (and ae101 4agze) is that the capacitors tend to melt in the ecu. In your example those are the exact symptoms I experienced before replacing caps in a silvertop. Basically it messes with itself. You may get codes coming up but they could mean sweet f all as the computer is confused.

In 4agze they tend to jump into limp mode when this happens. Supercharger turns off, cant rev past 4g.
