1UZ Fuelling

Postby solitaire » Fri Mar 26, 2010 8:11 am

Hi All, did a search for "1uz Fuel" but could not find anything (learnt a lot of extra stuff though)

Any recomendations for fuel on this? 94 1uz celsior - the fuel cap says to put 91 in it (just a caltex sticker though) and as its a FE i am inclinded to believe it, tried some 91 on the second refuel and it seems just as happy.

Any experience here?

cheers :D

According to this:
http://english.auto.vl.ru/catalog/toyot ... 4_10/5821/

Fuel type Unleaded premium gasoline

Also with 10.4 compression ratio, I would be inclined on using 95 or 98.

91 is for aussie tanks!

but most japanese cars seem to handle it reasonably well, so tight asses use it on them too.
