1jzgte vvti into jzx90 dash problems

hey peoples I have a friend who I have recently put a 1jzgte vvti engine into his jzx90 Mark2 and we can't seem to get anything on the dash going which is a pain in the buttocks.

1)I wired up the water temp wire but the gauge doesnt go, not sure why as most of the temp senders are the same for toyota
2) speedo doesnt work and I have wired in 3 cables for this as we are running the non turbo non vvti trans which uses the standard 3pin electronic speedo so I gave it 12v and gnd and wired the signal wire to the dash but for some reason its not getting the signal.
3) tacho not going - obviously something to do with vvti turbo engine using seperate coils opposed to dizzy.

has someone done this conversion before or something similar and has pinout for the plug to the dash on the jzx90? i need more info to get the dash going , im a bit stumped

1) Hard one to explain- JXZ90/100 bit different to usual temp gauges. Bring it over with box booze & I'll sort it for ya:)
2)Double check wiring, you should be pretty much on the right track though- should be straight forward but can take time sorting.
3)Will need to have rev counter modified for low level input(multicoil) as its used to single coil feedback. Bout $70-80 form Robisons Instruments in city. Or get TourerV dash.

hey cheers brendan! got the speedo going, my wiring was right and it works fine guy didnt tell me it actually was going when he drove it (dork).

with the water temp sender whats the fix you do on it? i can probably do it just need to knw what it is !
