Why do 98% of all older 4wd's get saggy bums?

Why is it always the rear that sags and not the front?

towing + front suspension is generally stiffer to support engine weight.

Rear is ran on coil springs and front is on torsion bars.

Rear is ran on coil springs and front is on torsion bars.

You get all sorts:
coils all around
leaves all around
leaves rear and torsion bars front

But yeah, mostly saggy leaf springs over time. I replaced the sagged leaves in my Landcruiser with standard height and gained 3 inches 8O .

130 surfs suffer from saggy coils pretty badly. put std height replacements in mine when i had it and gained HEAPS of rear lift.

combination of coils, heavy loads, towing etc etc over the last 15-20 years of their life
