Removing aicon pump on AE101 4agze

anyone done it and got pics of how they modfied the powersteering, can i ditch the powersteering?!

ditch the supercharger turbo it and run a 16v setup with alternator on the right right side?

You will need to use the PS off a normal 4age.
So you will need the following off any 4age 16v or 20v.

PS pump
Ps bracket
Bracket that holds the a/c pump
And the jockey wheel which is the tensioner.
Possibly the main PS line as the 4agze one is angled different and will not bolt up to a 4age.

Then you will need a 4age alternator and bracket with jockey wheel. Also the top adjustment bracket as well.

You can use the stock 4agze one but will need to fabricate to bolt the jockey wheel in a diff location

No PS in a turbo fwd car is insane.

i put a 20v on my 4agze and worked good. the pulleys are way bigger than 16v ones

thanks baz i have a blacktop power steering pump sure i should be able to rig something up, its just all messy with the AC compressor there.

heh, i paid $800 to have the airconditioning put back in.
Although Ausland is unbearable without the a/c
