I didnt think to check the interior light. I will check the dome fuse tomorrow, fingers crossed it it blown! i had to jumpstart the car the other day, prehaps this had something to do with it........
The reason we ask about the radio, is that many many people install headunits, and use the illumination wire as a ground (its a brown wire iirc), and it acts like an earth till the lights are turned out, so blows the dome fuse affecting the taillights and dash lights
If you dont have the stock headunit in there (either aftermarket or nothing) check to make sure there is no wires shorting, as that could be causing it to blow the fuse. I infact did the same thing to my MR2 installing the backlight on my boost gauge, even tho i know about the illumination wire i still accidentally earthed it through that, and come wof time, i had no taillights
