AE 86 Vs KE70 brake master cyl

Postby solberg Fan » Thu Apr 29, 2010 7:05 pm

Hey all,

Ive got a KE70 with all the running gear out of an AE86 including the disc brake rear end. I'm running a standard KE70 master cylinder but the pedal is very low, its been like this for ever but Ive finally decided to do something about it.

Does any one know the bore size of the AE86 master cylinder? Should hopefully be written on the side of it.

Cheers

I think you've got another problem/s. Is the pedal solid?
The MC size is just about the same on everything that's on the road.
Have someone pump the pedal while you look at every corner to find out what is & isn't moving. That fluid is doing something somewhere, if it isn't mashing the pad to disk.

Yep 86 M/C is 13/16, KE70 is smaller. What booster etc are you running?
