Wheres the oil coming from exactly?
as a descritpion of "pissing out the block" would prompt me to ask "do you know where all your rods are?" :P
Has this just been rebuilt? Or other work?
More details please 8)

I assume you have had a really good look and it is definitely coming out between the head and block? and not the VVT solenoid?

Were the block and head mating faces checked before reassembly? My one leaks like a mofo from the VVT solenoid

lol, seen that before. iv also seen it crack the block from hydraulic-ing.

as said id be having a good look around before you pull the head off. however, its only an hour job getting the head off to diagnose.

Bad head gasket, No, there is no 'general cause' because this doesn't generally happen, if ever. Unlikely, but it could be a bad crimp or seal on the oil filter & adaptor, the oil pressure sender, or an oil cooler/turbo feed line.
It can't be a head gasket unless YOU'VE just installed it F'd up.

Number one near the exhaust is where the main oil feed to the head is,
and where the o-ring in the head gasket should seal it,
if you puy it on the right way up and right way round.

My bet would be the gasket was placed steel side down if it's a genuine part.
