As a general guideline

Helmet - needs to meet certain specs which I cant recall just now - have a search on the forum for it.
100% cotton overalls
A secure battery
A securely mounted fire extinguisher, 1kg metal bracket type.
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!

At a guess first priority will go to those taking part in other events during the weekend. Just turning up for the trackday is weak :( not directed at anyone in particular (incase someone gets their knickers in a twist)

Instead of being obtuse then perhaps offer more detail for people.

Secure means as per MSNZ Schedule A, minimum of 2 M6 bolts with coach washers and locknuts.

And who cares if there is other events on, this is the Megameet thread, for people who want to come to Megameet and participate in a kick ass social occasion :)

all depends on if the event is running under a msnz permit or not as to what the rules will be. Running under a Msnz permit would be easier from that perspective as you'd just need to conform to sched A, but i'm sure those that are planning it will tell us what the deal is when they have it all confirmed

hope all members get a fair crack at entering the track day. i know i wont be able to make it for alot of the rest of the weekend other than that, so it'd be good to catch up with the rest of the people

Mate i was just merely pointing out that some of us wont be able to make it to the other activities that are planned.
Also i was just pointing out about the fire extinguisher mounting as people have used unsatisfactory means in the past.

Oky doky... very soon there will be information to answer all your questions about the [track] day.

So, just sit back, relax for a bit and all will be revealed soon (and in plenty of time for you all to be prepared for the trackday and the rest of the weekend).
