If you think it will hit stuff, just get real stiff urethane mounts, and a brace to stop it rocking.
I just have ordinary urethane mounts and my engine doesn't budge.
Like Matt says, you will eventually break stuff if its solid mounted. And rubber or urethane mounts mean the alignment can be off a little and it will be fine. With solid mounts, brackets, etc everything will have to be spot on, or you get stresses and again, shit will break.
Solid mounts are for racing cars that get rebuilt often.
