4age throttle body - quick question

All the pipes at the bottom which attach to the coolant,
If they aren't connected, is it ok to just leave it? Or should I plug them with a cap? Is it possible for 'boost' to leak out of there if they aren't plugged up?

it wont run properly without the coolant in it , will "hunt" at idle

Car is using an aftermarket ecu, so the car idles fine.
Just wondering if it is possible for air to escape from there.

yes some will cause a vacuum leak, so block them off separately.

You can remove the whole idle-up valve off the throttle body and bolt a plate to it to cover it all up, then just block off the two lines left there. never had problems idling without it on standard or aftermarket ecu's.

if its the two coolant ones its ok to leave them,

just think about it "coolant" why would air be coming from the coolant system,

BHG Otherwise yeah i'd be worried about air mixing in with coolant

The ones for power steering etc should be blocked off it not used. The coolant ones wont matter.

mine are not covered. you may find inside the butterfly there is one small hole that can leak air.
