hi ,

si have heard that you can turn 1uz headers upside down..essential creating twin turbo manifolds...???? sorry if this has been covered.

Yes they can be used left and right side. Dont think theyd be much good for turbo manifolds tho. best to used goo heavy duty steam pipe.

looks like we shall be trying this on weekend then, they should be strong enough if not just chuck some braces on the turbo

Yep, done it couple times. Will work, the one that ends up on drivers side will need modding to fit around alternator. If going single, I found quite laggy due to small collection points away from turbo. Even braced you will find they crack now and again. Huge amount of heat at the point where all 4 cylinders collect into 1. OK to get going though, more reliability & power from good steamtube ones of course.
