Cool Baby Car Seats

Postby gtpornstar » Sun Jun 20, 2010 2:58 pm

Anyone on here seen or using any cool baby car seats ? Been looking at the recaro range but was not the look i was expecting from a recaro baby car seat. I guess im looking for all the safety you would expect from the best car seat you could find plus something aesthetically pleasing, the aesthetically pleasing part is the hard part :)
So far have been looking towards this -

Its body is made out of carbon fiber which means it will be very frivolous and well-built. The designer invests $4,000 to produce the seat, with any luck the next model he craft won’t be pretty so luxurious.

Would be quite pricey.!

But looks fricken awesome.

infant seats are a funny thing.
it's compulsory for a full containment and 4-point harness, but when you want this on the road, you need to get a cert!!

we used plain-jane Evenflo?? seat. they are only in it for a short time, so unless you are planning to have more kids than an average Otara benficiary, it's hard to justify extra cost for 'bling'

i guess practicallity and safety over aesethetics is always better. but price versus length of use..

we got a phil 'n' teds capsule as we will probly use it more than once. also my brother and his partner arent far off their first which means they can get use out of it also. they look pretty stylish in black/grey and red lining and have all the safety features.

but yeh, a 'bucket' type baby seat would be neat. however i guess the lack of demand would make it a risk to mass produce due to possible lack of sales. however that sparco jobby is f'n cool!

haha, its not just the south auckland beneficaries with 8 kids to 6 different fathers and a maroon estima missing bumpers that over heats if they go any further than the markets, or poky lounge each day and hasnt had an oil change in 4 years and smokes like a dog.... any 1 can get a 'rental' from plunket, its $50 for 6 months for a capsule which after that they can go into a baby seat.
