ae101 rolla issues help ????

Ive just put my car back together after getting some things done and now when I drive it runs fine and then the rev counter flips out going all over the place the car starts missing and running like shit what could this be (ecu,timing,sparkplugs,leads) ???

Have you had the motor out? or a lot of engine stuff removed? could be not very good earthing, check ingiters, coilpacks are earthed well, earth cable on block/gearbox tight etc..

Thanks guys yea the motor has been replace at some stage am I best to make my own earth wire kit say 5 or 6 lenghts from the neg battery teninal to other parts

I have a rev counter go crazy with occasional rough running...
Worked out it was a failing ignition lead
I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

Tryed to start my car today and it fires up for 2 seconds and the dies It just wont go so I pulled the ecu out it looks fine and when I pulled number 1 lead off the rattles would this stop the car from running or is my ecu fired or is my timing completey screwed up

dude you need a mechanic or auto sparky.. you gonna cost your self more $$ if you keep messing with it
