4afe diferences

hey just thought i would ask before i wast someone else's money

are all the 4afe's the same? can one out of a 1995 Corolla G Touring 4WD
go into a ae92 fxzi without any major issues? maby a couple plugs to swap ect?

depends if you're ae92 is pre 89? i think. that is when they brought the 2nd gen 4afe out. in terms of plugs etc, they will be different between the body and engine looms of ae92/ae1xx but should be a simple case of cutting and connecting the correct connector.

other than that i'm sure it will be achievable as 4afe's and parts are dead easy to come by!

chuck the 4wd box in too!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

the 4AFE in an ae92 has the inlet ports down low on the head, the ports on the ae101/ae111 4afe have the ports up high, in a downdraft like style. the bottom ends might be the same but the heads/manifolds etc are definitily different
