Car is sitting high... really high. Have a set of dobi lowering springs that I could use. But from my understanding they are a softer spring.

What is the ideal options for lowering a car? Use a decent brand of lowering spring (suggestions?) and get the shocks shortened? Or will the dobis do the job just as well / such a minute difference to a whale that it wont matter.

atm, guards are 6" above the wheel, rivals the hilux for clearance :p

dobis are pretty good springs i have used hundreds of their kits with good levels of success so far

Do you just want it low? Or to handle well aswell? Track day car or street cruiser? and budget?

If you really do need to drop it 6"s ( :!:

) then the only way is going to be a serious set up as that much of a drop will alter your geometry massively!

Yeha - good ol' MK3 suspension man - When I put lowering springs in my supra - I went down about 4.5".....

Sometimes supra's ride VERY high lol

That's assuming it is your supra?

And the suspension geometry isn't affected on Supras 'as much' as, say a Primera for example, when you lower it.

Don't need it 'super low' just non -4wd material. If dobi aren't as shit as i thought they were will just chuck them back in, they are only a 35mm drop though.

i have used dobis alot of times through my cars. They are the best so far and i have used jamex, sabre, louvells, kings and dobis. The dobis have a good ride height too

Dobis are fine for road cars, if fitted to the right application!

What shocks are you using? if you can, grab a set of bilsteins from the JZA70 R type supra...

all Shocks are line priced, unless they changed it.
the bilsteins were $150 +gst rrp when I was selling them.
It may have changed....

Using JZA bilsteins and front hubs, though I may need to upgrade master cyl also, no brakes no brakes no brakes BRAKES.
