Partners car has ABS, and wants me to bleed the brakes.
Only manual the library had was the prior model.
Prior models instructions for bleeding ABS brakes states to leave the car running, then bleed Rear Left, Front Right, Rear Right, Front Left...
it gives no indication of which way you are facing to workout which way is left and right.... not really to keen to touch it without knowing more.
I've only only less flash cars that requires the usual two man operation starting from the further'ist' wheel from the master cylinder, working the way forwards etc....
I assume the leaving the car running refers to ABS being computer controlled?
so I guess my questions are:
(1) do I need to leave it running whilst doing this, and why?
(2) whats up with the cris cross instruction for bleeding and why?
any help would be awesome
