How to swap a 4AFE for a 4AGE?

Postby MILFY » Wed Aug 04, 2010 7:04 pm

I want to get a normal 5 door Corolla but put a 4AGE in it. Has anyone done this before? And what was required to do a straight swap?

If you haven't got it yet, then don't. Buy one with a 4age if you want a car with a 4age.

there are also some reasonably priced fxgt's around.
TBH i wouldn't bother doing the swap unless you are attached to a car/spent heaps on it already and wanna keep it. just buy one without the need for the work.

When i had my AE101 Trueno SJ with the 4AFE, i was thinking the excact same thing but once you price it up, it's far cheaper to get a 4AGE powered one.

Has anyone done this before

Has been covered sooooo many times, need to search

As much as I really want an FXGT, its just too small to put the kid in the back... she kinda needs leg room too... she ain't getting any smaller...

Did you even read the replies up there? Someone did you a favour and did the search for you and posted all the information you need.
