been reading about BZG wagons problem with the alignment issues/ wear etc..
then searched camber bolts...
My car has lowered springs of some type (in there when I got it) and would like to sort out the camber wear issue as well, sounds like it would be a great idea to buy some camber bolts for the next alignment to avoid the inside wearing as much as they do - where do I get them from (wellington) and how much are they (just roughly?)
secondly, i bought dz101's for the car some time ago and have also been a little disappointed at how quickly they have worn.. I've noticed that others seem to prefer 'cheaper options' for their runabout. So my question is what tyres are ideal and fall into this cheap category? are dz101's 'cheap' ?(everythings expensive to me because I'm a student!)
would be great to know as I think they will need replacing for the next warrant in January..
thirdly, is there anywhere round wellington, other than pick a part, that would be cheap to get a replacement exhaust - just looking for a standard jobbie from the 2-1 back? been checking pick a part for some time but the only ae101s they get are well fart cannoned?
fourthly, I think the prior owner thought it would be 'cool' to put a vented bonnet from a supercharged model onto it (just a silvertop). in doing so they have used one piece headlights + bonnet has an extra 'lip' like this - http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 596810.htm
however, the headlights have had the clips shortened to make them fit. hence I'm thinking it was originally like this - http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 849666.htm
hence I'm thinking its a levin with a trueno front on it. this has left me wondering - should they be interchangeable, without changing anything else - OR do they require changing the part they bolt to... which I think is called the radiator support? OR is it likely to be from crash damage, and a new support would fix this (I do have a spare set of headlights that are unmodified, trueno lights - but they do not fit as the clips are too long)
any help would be great!
