Corollas dont have much castor.
Need to change the suspension geometry to gain castor.
Castor bushes gain about 1 deg.

might try the cooler (8) lol) thing frirst and see if that solves my boiling issue then keep taking it out as a plan b. cause once its out i probably will never be $&#$% putting it back in and always winge about having no PS.

maybe thats why my steering is so hard... i'm running about 3degrees -ve camber on fronts.

Nah it's because you're running ONLY -3degrees

More -ve camber = less tyre contact patch = win

changing camber with camber bolts can have funny effects on macpherson strut cars because it changes your kingpin offset (scrub radius) and depending on what offset your wheels are you can end up getting close to bringing your offset down to zero as you increase camber (which makes the steering lighter but very vague feeling). If you're using strut-top camber plates to adjust camber, you will increase your scrub radius with more camber and probably make steering heavier because of this (but as noted, you reduce the amount of tyre on the road so it depends which effect is the more significant)

increasing castor wont make steering "harder", but it will make it fight you more, you'll get more feedback... but yea it might be a problem if you've got toothpick arms

don't want to get the car to a state where it is a b!tch to drive as i think i have already comprimised enough with removing rear seats, having buckets and having stiff suspension and road noise.

i do drive this car every day and do a lot of long trips in it so don't want to go balls-to-the-wall racecar until i can afford a 2nd car.

sure it will, increasing caster slightly increases jacking at the front end (i.e. when you turn the wheels you slightly raise the front of the car), but also it tends to increase caster trail (i.e. mechanical trail), which increases the aligning torque about the kingpin/steering axis when cornering - this effect tends to be far more dominant in terms of total steering effort.

Basically, it makes the wheels want to go straight, making the steering harder to move from centre but easier to return to centre.
