Right, have bent Corolla.

Anyone here have panel contacts who can violence a car straight again.

Doesn't have to be even slightly pretty. Just has to be straight enough to bolt everything back together again. Inner guard has only folded in once place. Chassis rail doesn't appear too bad. Crossmember under radiator has taken huge hit though, so that's where lots of straightening needs to happen.

It's only a dirty old club car, so unless the fix is cheap, I'll be selling the car as is, and let somebody else take on the repair.

If you have the technology to get a cross member, that'd be quicker than me trying to hacksaw the front off a car at pick a part ;)

Will get a photo of the inner guard tomorrow when it is light.

Yeah, I checked with Donna. I'm not allowed to turn a car into garden ornaments. Though I have entirely taken over one lawn.

That may be rather excellent.

I'm just waiting to get hold of Ray H to shoot over to his place to see if he has all the AE92 panels he think he does, then the car is ready to be moved :)

Yeah, there is some confusion surrounding this.

He has determinedly stated "it is a NZ new Gti-16" which = AE92

Yet Andrew has determinedly stated "I has only AE82's in the barn from Ray".

I'm ten minutes drive away from Ray, so the easiest way to be sure, is drive there and use eyeballs.

Yes, I've been told the same thing, so I suspect we have communication fail on the difference between AE82 and AE92s.

Which will be a downer, as it means I have to restart my mission to get the right AE92 bits again.

This will slow progress down to a halt again.
