I would like to offer my huge thanks to Andrew, Leela, Aaron, Cam, Adrian (MrOizo), Lisa, Ken and Blair who were the main-stays from 7.30am to 5pm for the day. You are so totally awesome and without you I could not have run the day. I want to say a huge thanks to the people who helped on timing and at the marshal points on the track, the boys on the BBQ (excellent idea Brad) and the other general helpers who contributed to the day. I very much appreciate your contribution and effort!
Every single one of you are fantastic and worth your weight in gold!
Thank you to all the competitors for your patience and co-operation as we made the day get on line throughout the morning. I only had a couple of people a little frustrated, thank you for coming to me directly with those frustrations. I was impressed with the general behaviour and for those of you who competed in your first event ... WELL DONE!! Hope you keep up the motorsport events in the future.
Like everyone else I had a fun time on the track and my little Mirage with her new suspension and standard gearbox (close ratio one died) did great. Been far too long since I've been on the track... I think its time to get back there soon.
Thanks & take care. Chelles
