Bilstein Circlip Height Shocks - JZX100

Postby Tofu » Wed Oct 27, 2010 6:38 pm

Hi Lads,
Does anybody know if Bilstein manufactures circlip height adjustable shocks for JZX100's? If so, what is the part number?
Trying to get around needing a low volume cert for the chaser and they should match well with my existing TRD springs.

If anybody can help that would be great!

Sample of what it looks like:

Thanks,
Phil

While not adjustable while fitted to the car they are still height adjustable and will most likely require a cert.

Actually I think you are right in them requiring a cert. Found this in the lvv guidelines

'springs and seats must not be height adjustable'

I was under the impression that it would only need a cert if it the spring sat on a thredded sleeve and could be adjusted whilst still attached to the car.

Thanks for the heads up ChaosAD. Will go back to the drawing board however I would still prefer this setup over any coilover in that price range.

If you want to know, bring me some jack & coke premix and I'll jack up the car for you to note the part # ;)

A friend of mine has a set of them in his evo and the guy that built them for him said no cert needed.
