Hey all

does anyone here work for a mazda parts department?

Looking to buy some spare factory alloys and a cartridge to spin on oil filter adapter kit for an sp23

What part of the country are you in? Fairviews in Hamilton give me better than Trade on most things.

I always deal with Simon @ Ultimate Motor Group in Tauranga/Mount probably cause he knows his stuff on early mazda/ford stuff & rotaries in particular

You would have to change the oil filter housing, if it's really worth it lol. Why woud u want to change it anyway?

Yes I would, its a simple job, I prefer not to get covered in oil having to change a cartridge type filter than a simple spin on one (the 2L model has a spin on and the adapter fits the 2.3L)

I'll try calling the guys in Hamilton, as Wellington Mazda want $600 a piece for a spare wheel - even though they are standard on all Mazda models 2006 - 2009..

And totally loving the Mazda.. Has way more go than Toyota's current offerings, and even with my driving it uses less gas than my old 20v :D
