Yeah i think so. It went through the other parties insurance as it was entirely their fault. It eventually got fixed after a lot of fluffing around.

legally they can decline the claim, but if you crashed your car because you swerved to miss a dog, i doubt they would ping you for 2mm spacers

maybe if it had bald tires and cuttys etc they might

i know from experience AMI doesnt decline you on crap like that though

I thought the little slip on ones are ok as long as they're 5mm or so?

If its the rears your having issues with. On the corollas there is another way you can space it out, but you will have to space out the whole stub, therefore need to space out the caliper the same amount. This is all hidden and you can space up to 5mm with no probs.

As for wheel spacers, I thought as long as they are hub eccentric they should be fine and with longer wheel studs.

On the subject of wheel spacers, I have some 25mm spacers on the front of my jzx90 and they are a bit wide and have made me go from a 225 tyre to a 205 so they don't stick out from the guard. Can I get the spacers machined down to 15mm (which is as far as I know the minimum for wheel spacers with studs) and the studs put back in? I just want to reduce my track by about 10mm so I can run the bigger tyres. I think the hub centre is 60.1mm which is not easy to find spacers in. The ones I have are 66.1mm with a ring to suit my hub.

Not hard to find at all and probably cheaper than modding yours.

give it to a machinist, be pretty easy to do, take about 40 mins on a manual lathe.

Have a read on what you can and can't cert etc.

You can't have any spacers in any form without a cert in any case. any any

No, changing wheel offset by more than 12.5mm is illegal without cert and ANY spacer is illegal without cert. Once you cert it though you are up to whatever the certifier deems safe in terms of offset (there are some limits) and can have slip on spacers up to 25mm or bolt on up to 27mm.
