Starting issue

When I start my car my engine stutters after it fires, stutters for a few seconds.. then runs fine. has been deteriorating over last few weeks.

The reason im asking is because it ONLY happens at middle of the day.
(12noon peak temps)
but the engine is cold as its been sitting since 8am.

starts fine when its cold in the morning, or when i have been using it all day and it starts first pop.

so weird. any ideas?

coolant temp sensor? although it should be throwing some codes and running rich.

FYI peak temp of a day is after midday (early afternoon), not 12pm.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

My car use to do this. Early morning starts, its fine.
However hot starts weren't good.
The car was running too rich, which is ok for a cold start. Around 70ms on 440cc injectors, and the hot start was 60ms which was way too much.
Eventually trimmed it down to 20-30ms and it cranks straight away.

On a standard car I would guess its possibly the coolant sensor, its the only sensor on the car that monitors engine running temperatures.

no, but I made a trip today to a job interview 2pm with a broken window regulator on the driver's side window. so epic sucks to be me.

Try it with the throttle pushed down, but don't let it rev whenit does start. Some that are running rich or leaking injectors need a little more air for a hot startup.

lol i had a ride in a friends car for around 20 min on open road, found out there was no aircon and the option was get my face torn off by the wind or get baked.....dang....
