Just a quick question i need one for a 89 Lancer, as it throwing the code.
Its the sensor for EFI ect..

I tried Repco and they want $104 for it, i used to have a mate that worked there but dont anymore, is there a better place to get them?

They want $116, I thought that the dealer parts are always priced crazily.

I just wanted to know if this is the case or not, in the past I got everything through a friend at Repco but cant anymore.

Do you know how to test it?
Car mechanics swap parts by guesswork, technicians test the parts before swapping them. Just because it brings up a code doesn't mean the sensor is faulty. It could be the wiring, even the ECU. There's plenty of good sensors at pick a part too. That's if you know how to tell the difference between a good and a bad one.

As far as i know theyre pretty much a thermistor. So i would need to check temp against resistance.

I dont know the particular specs of the sensor I have is so havent got so far as testing it yet.

That aside I was just interested if there was somewhere better to go then the likes of Repco for these sort of things.

cheers but i got it sussed, NZEFI will do one for $30 or butler automart for $30.

Healthier on the wallet then repco and Mitsubishi for anyone that cares.

petroject in albany is good for sensors etc as well
