A jack is designed to jack something up not hold it, that's why you have axle stands

Step 1
Jack car up
Step 2
put axle stands under car
Step 3
let jack down and profit.

p.s i have this jack and it's awesome.

How much did it set you back, and do you know if it is able to be serviced? e.g. seals replaced, etc?

^^ same jack I have, and they are definately a nice piece of kit. Around $300 iirc.

Just a shame that this "superlow" still isn't quite low enough :lol:

depends where u get it, around 300-500, might be able to get it from repco for 350$ ask if they will do it for that ;D

As far as i know they can be serviced, but i have never seen one of these jacks come back so i guess that's a good sign.

p.s f*** they are heavy.

Yeah the Wayco stuff is pretty solid, I think its still Chinese made but I've never had an issue with it. I've got the non low profile version, which I've had for about 5 years now.
I could probably do the W1001 for $350, but freighting it anywhere would be a killer.

What isn't made in China these days? :lol:

Pretty sure my Milwaukee cordless drill is, but it will be built to a different spec than $20 China made drills. So I think the key is still, "get what you pay for".

Biggest problem is people are cheap arses and buy cheap shit and expect good quality.
