Hey,
Having troubles with my 1JZGTE clutch
Ill try keep it simple and brief,
It had an Autoclutch Pressure plate and solid center disc, they machined the flywheel to work together when they made it all.
The autoclutch plate broke so I replaced it with a stock organic Exedy plate
Now the clutch will not disengage and I cant change gear, this gets worse after the cars been running for a few minutes and its hot.
Ive replaced the master cylinder with a new one, wound the adjuster on the pedal all the way out, made longer pushrods for the slave, the last rod I made was longer again but made the problem worse, still couldnt change gear and it was half disengaged with the pedal on the floor.
It has a pretty big slave cylinder, Hilux I think, would It help changing to a smaller bore slave to get more throw help? or is it possible the new clutch plate is just too thick for the pressure and fly setup?
I did have it going a couple of times when it changed really well cold, then got super bad when it was warm.
Any help would be great! need it going by tomorrow!
