Stupid emissions laws killed the S15.

The MX5 got fat.

RX8 meh.

RX7 gone.

Come on Toyota!

S2000 only just stopped production... they'd have to have been the best light weight RWD sports car from Japan in AGES.

Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

is there any reason why they cannot do a re-run of the original, yet offering new technology options i.e. carbon fibre body parts, turbo, adjustable suspension etc. etc.

oh well... dreams are free I guess...

Yeah, safety requirements...would be a mission to re-engineer the car to take airbags, ABS, stability control etc etc

Very true. I wonder if the FT86 would be a similar price to the s2000? I've always viewed the S2000 as being a very good car but high priced.
