Mag wheel repair

So I curbed both my left hand side mag wheels this morning they are only a month so looking to get them repaired.The damage is only to the lip of the wheel and not the actual face, thank god.

Ive found the following places to repair them

-Wheelfixit
-Arrow Wheels
-Manakua Mag and Tyre

Ive been quoted between 120-200 per wheel for repaire without them seeing the damage, so could be more or less.

Has any one had any wheels done by any of these company's or could recomend any good ones to deal with that wont change an arm and leg for machining and re-coating

Used arrow wheels before. Was happy with the end result, good blokes to deal with. Price wise? *shrug* was a good price for the work done, imo.

You'll probably find that price would be the same whether its one little kerb mark or a series of them.

Bit out of your way, but I got mine done in Palmy at $150 a wheel. Came back with new paint, polished, etc. $200 a wheel is well steep! Esp if its just a small bit of curbing.

Cheers, the prices given were without sighting the damage. Will email photos to them so they can quote a more aqurate price.

Think im going to use Wheelfix it as they can do it on site(I dont have spare set to put on it and its my daily)

I used wheelfixit when i had a crack in one of my wheels cost $80 odd to fix. Cheap id say but there was no painting just weld and cleaned it up.

Used arrow wheels, not happy with result. There's 1 pit about 1.5mm x 1.5mm which they failed to fill, and burnt the sticker on my wheel when they did welding on it, then when I picked it up they try to gloss it up by saying "omg look at that wheel it looks so nice it's MINNNNNNNNT!"

Arrow wheels are very expensive for no difference in results.

I've used them and Sharrock Engineering (who I believe are now Wheelfixit) and they are good to deal with and very well priced.

If you're out south, there is also an engineer in Drury who is pretty good to deal with, does great work and at a good price.

Yea wheelfix seems to be chaps to use, ive emailed Nick some photo's so will get a accurate quote in the AM.

Who's the chap in Drury, as im only 10mins away from there and give them a call as a comparison

I know the place in Drury, just cant remember the name of it. Its the place across from the church right?

Also what stud pattern does your car have. I have some 4x100 13" steelies with tyres you could borrow (if needed) while the mags are getting fixed.

Place in Drury is called MacWeld, guy by the name of Jason Yearbury. Fantastic to deal with and super happy that now I have someone close to do this kinda stuff
