66 on 1 Dinner - and Karting *Booked 30th @ 5pm*

Postby 1I1 » Tue Apr 12, 2011 5:45 pm

Was wondering if there was interest in getting a group together and going out to the 66 on 1 dinner out at Foxton for tea one Friday or Saturday night?

Thinking either 15th / 16th (this weekend) or 29th / 30th - the weekend after Easter

Could incorporate it with another activity such as karting

**EDIT: Booked for Saturday the 30th at Daytona. Racing starts at 5pm so if people could show up 10mins before hand.

You need:
Covered in shoes
$30

You can bring your own helmet if you wish

Racing is split into two groups, we get 25min races or something along that line. Was trying to do two things at once while on the phone

Then will drive out to the bustling metropolis that is Foxton for tea.

If we get the Wellington members to come up early/mid afternoon we could organise a few races at Daytona pre tea

sweet i'm pretty keen to get my car going and take it out with nicks semi's on but i keep thinking i should save that money for winter series instead....might just have to have a drive of the corolla to ease my thirst for track.

lets hope the old man isn't too sore from 2 weeks of tramping to go karting.

he is going to be flying in just before 5 so if we do karting at 5ish we can make it.

when did you have in mind mark?

I'm also keen to for both karts and dinner. Haven't been to many toyspeed events, and I always wanted to try the food there.

Rhys - I guess it depends on the number of people we get / bookings at Daytona as to what time we race.
If we book for 5pm that should mean tea would be 7pm-ish allowing for a few races.

arrow and Brett - you guys are down.

Sound good?

Oh and unless someone is interested in lending their time to organise a similar event to the last local karting session I was thinking of just having grudge racing. Then we are all winners... Execpt Craig who will lose due to having the slowest time
