HELP CIVIC STOLEN!

1984 Honda Civic in crazy cracked blue stolen from the Papakura train station today sometime between 8am - 4.30pm where my brother parked it about 5m away from secure parking (because it was "closer")

PLATE - RC8607
KM'S - 107XXX

Has rust R/R of the roof.

Will try and find a pic.

Cops found the civic, like they said, more cops out this weekend.

20yo Male with no life, has many charges to his name, took the car, went to cort today, probably wont be made to pay for damages etc WHATS WRONG WITH NZ, had to get the car towed from past silverdale myself and everything.

Stole my stereo, c**t.

Yeah, those civics are piss easy to break into when you remove that trim on the door, there's a hole right to the lock bar - it's like Honda even thought of the thieves when they designed it!

Take him to court? Force the issue till you cause him enough grief etc

Claim all costs for repairs, towing etc. Surely that's doable. Whether he pays or not is another thing. But i'm sure there are ways to make him pay...

What on earth is the purpose of that hole underneath the door trim anyway? Seems ridiculous to even have it there...

Haha. I'm gonna have to have a look at one next time I'm at Pick-A-Part. I used to own a sedan version Civic like that many years ago and had no idea that was even there until now. Looks like a mailbox or some kind of extra wide glory hole :lol:

I had a look at one today at Pick-A-Part and the strip that covers the hole is actually an air vent. God only knows why the door needs an air supply, bit after pulling off the vent I could fit my whole arm inside and reach up to the door lock :roll:

. Pretty sure it's only the hatchbacks that have the vent, as my sedan never did.

step #1 rig it up with razorblades inside the hole
step#2 park car in the same place as last time
step#3 take photos of any blood or fingers found inside the door next time they try to steal car
step#4 post photos on Toyspeed
