Actually ironically enough, they have a ridiculously small amount of leg room. Like nearly impossible for me to drive. Tried out an old workmates one. Newer models might be improved, but I'm not that blinged up yet

And the chromes would have to be 24" spinners yo... I am soufcyde after all!

the problem with fun to drive cars like swift sports etc is if you have 2 extra people in your car and a tank full of gas is that your power to weight ratio halves.......

So umm...

In the past week I've driven a JZS161, Audi Q7, VW Tiguan, BMW 118i, BMW (E36?) 325i, Daewoo, and tried sitting in Altezza and 530i.

So to answer the speculation on the BMW 325i, quite a nice car, surprised at how much poke it has, good room, very good driving position. However I think the steering wheel could do with reach adjustment. Still need to have knees spread a little too much which causes the side bolstering on the seat to dig into the thighs.

Tomorrow I should be picking up a 745iL.

Not that any of these really qualify as economical or cheap

So the search continues, and more sensible suggestions are more than welcome.

Well I've owned a 13B JC with rebuild, manual conversion and leather... surprisingly it actually was quite comfortable for space inside with everything stock. But errr... I'd hate to be filling one of those up these days

I'm pretty certain that VY - VZ Commodores have the largest amount of legroom of any mass produced car. Pity that the rest of of the car is pure unadulterated shit.

E39 5-series BMW should be the automatic choice for a daily driver under under 15k, they have _the best_ seats of any car in the price range, handle well, look good, anything above a 523 goes well enought to be fun on a public road.

Not a car but bikes have shitloads of headroom and economical to run
