Must see/do's at the mount?

Postby ch4ng » Tue May 31, 2011 11:52 pm

Gonna be down at Mount Maunganui this queens birthday weekend
What are some must see/do's there?

Also if anyone will be around there, would be keen for a bit of a meet or something?

climb Mauao, the lil hill down the mount, followed by a session at the flesh market a.k.a Hot Salt Water Swimming Pools

Bayfair always good for a wander round, you also got the driving range across the railway tracks...umm

Get a copenhagen cone. The store is at the base of the mount. Go to the hot pools. Eat some fish and chips at pilot bay.

Climb the mount, you can go out to the Papamoa hills and walk to the top of them. Some really nice views. Walk lesuire island.

Go to the hot pools in Ohope. The ones atthe mount are rotten.

Other than that, grab a box of woodstock, rent-a-323 with an extra pitbull and a ropehead wig, and go pick up some hoez.

Pretty sure I read in the paper that the Mount hot pools are closed for emergency repairs, they're ;eaking 50,000 litres of water a day or something.

I also read somewhere that theres kart racing on at the Te Puke track if your into that sort of thing.
Or speedway at Waihi Beach.

Otherwise yeah just have a few beers and go watch the slappers parade down on the strand. Just watch out for the Cougars, not a pretty sight.

Go to Major Toms, order some Burger Fuel, grab one of their specialty "Dr Peppers", relax and wait for Burger Fuel to arrive...
Drinking 42 BELOW Passionfruit Vodka is like walking along the street and seeing this really hot girl and all you can think is "Man, I don't understand how anyone can be gay".
