Anybody knows a good place for window tinting?
That wont cost you an arm and a leg? lol

would like to re-tint as mine are turning purple
Current:77 MK2 Ford Escort L 1.3L
75 MK2 Ford Escort L 2.1L

I would also be interested. Seem rediculus the prices here, when Seth @ car folie in Aux can do it for under half the price I got quoted.

In a town of boyracers im quite surprised that no one knows where's a good place for tinting windows lol

what are they qouting?
a friend of mine does them as a sideline, but would want all 3 booked at same time to make it worthwhile heading up.

I got quoted 320ish from a couple of places in town that was a year plus ago though.

I got quoted 350 to 380 ish a week ago.
Damn things are getting expensive.

seemingly, it's over $500 for Tinit-a-car to do a whole car.
my mate reckons under $400 is cheap , as the tint he uses is $65/m

I just paid $230 for my new Starlet to get tinted in Auckland, using quality film with a lifetime warranty. No way I was bringing it back to Gisborne and paying $500 for a shit job.

What are the laws regarding tint again??
30% front and 45% side windows??

^ 35% all round for passenger vehicles, or 35% up front and any percentage on the rear windows for a van.

I use tint my ride $400 for new territory 35 front black backs not sure contact ring team hutchinson ford they oranged it.
