Remember, the throttles on those things have 3/8th of $&#$% all between a huge jump in revs! I'm surprised he held it on that as long as he did.
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

The $50 figure for sport channel was just a number I grabbed out of the air. I think my telstra clear tv component is about $60 a month, but around $30 of that is for the normal cable channels, so I guess sport costs $30ish.

Either way, its great value for money, especially if you like all forms of motorsport. I would pay it even if only the F1 was screened though ;)

Charlie Whiting is going to take a look at the blown diffuser/hot blowing/cold blowing, drama overnight and will make an announcement before FP3 on what, if any, changes will be made.

And I concur, GP3 race 1 is on between FP3 and quali on early sunday morn. Gooooooo Mitch :)

Sucks balls they are showing netball instead of live qualifying.

They better not do the same for the race!

I couldnt agree more mate, it sickens me that F1 ALWAYS takes a back seat to any other sport that happens to be on, regardless of what it is. Even tetraplegic snail racing would take precedence I imagine...

But with the criminal element in first place for a change.

If a RBR car has to win tonight, I really really hope its Mark. Maybe Seb will do the same as last year and go off at the second corner trying to squeeze the convict.

Its looking like its going to be a dry race so we will start to get a clearer picture of the 10% throttle debate and what effect its having on each team over a race distance.

Go Schu!

Lets hope not, be great to see someone there who can actually take the fight to Seb, and also someone who can actually get off the line properly!

I fell asleep during the race last night, how did Alonso manage to get into the lead? Woke up with about 2 laps to go and was sirprised to say the least.

Alonso was catching Vet pretty good, then they both pitted. Vettel had issues with rear right and Alonso passed him there and then just walked away. Think the gap was almost to 20 seconds between him before Alonso slowed down to cruise to his win.

I think Alonso won the race during between laps 28-35 when he re over took Hamilton he reeled fastest lap after fastest lap then cruised to the finish.I think Alonso and Ferrari handled the changeable conditions the best also.

Poor Massa he is treated like the red headed step child as for now its Team Alonso.

I like the idea of drivers not having to rely on their crew starting the car

Yes, definitely something that should have been incorporated years ago.

A started motor mounted nice and low will almost be like ballast anyway ;)

Looking like a wet weekend so expect a nail biter.

I doubt they will have starter motors.
They will use the KERS or ERS
