Which are the best lowering springs for an AE101 liftback?

Tein S Techs for a BZ-R levin have the best spring rates, and will slot in no prob's

Tein do about half a dozen or more variants for the various AE101, AE111 models

Any idea how to find that out; seems like there's very limited info on the websites seen so far?

First thing to do would be to find out the ride height of yours compared to other ae101s. The liftback is a bit of an orphan model and you may find hatch ones don't lower as much etc.

If you don't carry many loads then hatch ones might be ok, if you do carry loads and need to retain some rear travel look at the wagon ones

Lets not forget a levin weighs maybe 50kgs less than a carib other than that the platforms are near on identical so there will be fukk all if any difference in ride height

Yes there is, because TEIN design wagon springs so you can still carry loads. So they don't lower them as much in the rear.

i had jamex in my old ae101 FXGT, and imo i would NOT go with them again. They were far too soft, especially in the rear. I could bounce on the boot edge and hit the bump stops. Shocks were fine.

From previous experience, would recommend tein.

OP is more interested in performance than looks, the levin teins are firmer so based on my personal experience with a carib with correctly specced teins in it the levin jobbies will be better as the carib ones were still too soft

No it wasn't the shocks as I had reasonably new bisteins in it

Thats funny, my AE111 wagon is awesome with the wagon spec TEIN springs.
I was just pointing out some options.
