Hmm, I don't take much notice of the Nissan isles, but I'm sure I saw an R33 at one of the yards. I'll have a proper look next time I'm there :)

Thanks! All i really need to know is if one is there, as the part i need is almost guaranteed to be there

No problem. I had a look today and there are two R33's at the Takanini yard - One 4-door and one 2-door.

Thanks heaps :D will have to head out this weekend.

Is yours a 4-door sedan or 3-door hatchback? The Cielo at PaP is a 4-door.

Hmm, it would probably be different in that case as the part numbers are different, but I guess there's only one way to know for sure. When I went back today the front right regulator was gone. I don't suppose it was you who grabbed it?

When I got home I decided to go to the Avondale yard as I haven't been there in ages. I didn't have time to write about every single car as I wanted to be off the roads before the traffic set in, but there were two cars in particular that caught my attention:

the ae101 at mangere is a facelift model, still pretty much together, i needed a rear top hat so managed to get that off it, i put the strut inside the car and the red lowered spring is hiding in the spare wheel bay incase someone wants to pull the rest out.

also found a socket set under the rear seat, just some crap brand, but it might come in handy one day. maybe lol.

That spray can blue levin also has an aftermarket exhaust, i think cat back or no cat. Was gonna take the front piece for my car but realised it was welded. Also i think the front springs are dobis.

Yeah from memory they used the stock exhaust piping but changed to a single muffler set-up instead. The cat has been replaced with a resonator (looked like a Coby). Yeah you could be right about the front springs. I had a quick look and saw that they were green, but could have been more of a teal colour.

You've got to be quick when they come in because the front bumper and headlights seem to be the first things that disappear. I'll keep an eye out though.

Colour: White.
Engine: 3S-FE (2000cc).
Transmission: 5-speed manual (S54).

Accident damage: Yes, accident damage to front left corner and roof.
Other damage: Front bumper, roof, front and rear windscreen destroyed in crash, damage to both sideskirts.
Parts missing: Gear shift surround, interior mirror covers, rear spats, both front guards, oxygen sensor, both rear shocks, front brake pads.

There was also a red base model NZ New AE101 shape Corolla that had come in but I didn't have the time to write about it.

Nothing new to report at the Takanini yard.
