Question for masters of Diff Fu

Postby Adamal » Sat Jul 30, 2011 9:22 am

Got a question regarding diff interchangeability.

So the one piece of Nissan that doesn't seem to be like lego is the diffs in the S14. Turbo is R200 LSD, N/A is R180 open. To swap to an R200 would mean changing subframe and axles.

From what I've found, some WRX's had R180 LSDs in them.

Does anyone know if the diffs are interchangeable between the Nissan R180 housing and the WRX R180 housing? Just figure it'd be easier than doing subframe and all that.
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.
